Cohado® FutureMakers Lab is a collaborative design space where play becomes power — and you work together to reimagine what’s possible.
This is a five-day immersive experience for high school students who want more than a game — they want a way to reshape their world. Built around Cohado®, the transformative Afrofuturist, collaborative strategy game designed by Paulo Gregory, who will be stewarding this 5-day experience. This program uses design thinking, game theory, and real-world creativity to unlock a new paradigm for building better relationships, stronger communities, and a more abundant planet.
Across five immersive days, participants will explore the faulty design that we see almost everywhere, and together move from players to designers to collaborative change makers, discovering how the principles inside Cohado® mirror and apply the forces that transform communities, ecosystems, and social movements. Students learn how to see each other and them selves more clearly, build trust, generate solutions together, and apply new ways of thinking to the challenges they care about most.
This is no game. This is a leadership launchpad for the next generation of builders, connectors, and visionaries.
LUNCH: Students staying for full day or for both morning and afternoon sessions can bring or buy their lunch. All students will eat lunch on Campus in The Commons, a small food court.
