Year-Round Non-Credit Courses for Middle and High School Students at UMBC

UMBC offers a variety of year-round non-credit courses for middle and high school students, held on weekends, after school, and during holiday breaks. These courses cover a wide range of disciplines, including science, engineering, technology, arts, and humanities, providing students with hands-on learning opportunities.

Participants work alongside UMBC faculty, graduate students, and industry experts, gaining invaluable experience and insight. These programs are designed to help students tap into their creative talents, enhance their critical thinking, and strengthen their academic skills.

Our hands-on trial classes for students to attend either on October 5th or 8th, held at the UMBC campus, are the perfect opportunity for students to experience the power of STEM education in a fun, interactive environment. Through coding, robotics, and other technology-based projects, students will develop critical problem-solving skills, creativity, and collaboration, all while preparing for the future of education and careers in science and technology. Attending the trial class will provide students with exposure to real-world STEM applications, giving them a head start in building skills that are in high demand. We encourage both students and parents to join us for this exciting opportunity to see how our programs can inspire and unlock each child’s potential.
